My favorite black nail colour is from OPI and their new nail lacquer Black Shatter is the coolest. It works by painting one coat on your nails, preferably over already colourfully painted nails, and the lacquer slowly dissolves to produce a cracked or "shattered" effect. Get it on Ebay (around $20).
